Today’s practice

Name it, then practise it

You do not need a plan, a subscription or a diagnosis. Choose the sentence closest to how today actually feels, and Shoonyaka opens one short sadhana — breath, then mantra, then a little silence.

Eight starting points

What are you carrying?

None of these are conditions or categories. They are just plain sentences, each attached to a practice that suits it.

What this page is

A doorway, nothing more. Most practice sites open with a library and leave you to browse it. This page skips that: you say one true sentence about the day, and Shoonyaka hands you a sequence you can start in the next ten seconds.

Every suggestion is made of practices that already have their own page on this site. Nothing is hidden behind the recommendation — you can always read the breath guide, the mantra and the verse before doing any of it.

What this page is not

It is not a diagnosis, a screening tool, a treatment or a substitute for care. Shoonyaka does not know anything about you, cannot assess you, and does not claim that any breath, mantra or verse produces a specific outcome. If something feels persistent, severe or frightening, the right next step is a qualified professional, not a ten-minute practice.

There is also no promise of an astrological or spiritual result. A sadhana here is a way of spending ten quiet minutes with attention. That is the whole claim.

Arriving from somewhere else

Shoonyaka can be linked to directly, so another site or a friend can hand you straight to one practice. The pattern is a plain query parameter on this page:

  • /remedy/?need=restless
  • /remedy/?need=sleep&from=jeevanii

Accepted values are restless, unsettled, sleep, focus, low-energy, anger, grief and devotion. The parameter is read in your browser and used only to highlight a link that is already on this page. Nothing is stored, transmitted or inferred, and no personal data of any kind should ever be put in a Shoonyaka link.

Jeevanii is a separate project for Jyotish reading and interpretation. It may point people here for a practice. The two sites share nothing but a link: separate repositories, separate hosting, no shared accounts, no shared data, and no birth details crossing over.

If none of these fit

Then start with the breath and skip the sentence. Four minutes of a slightly longer exhale is a complete practice on any day.
