The practice
Hold the whole statement rather than half of it: that the divine exists everywhere, equally, in everything — and that there is nothing else at all. The second clause is the one that does the work. Keep both in view and let the non-dual condition follow.
What it works on
The text treats this verse as a summary of its philosophy. Everywhere is easy to accept; nothing besides is the difficult half, and holding it without quietly excepting yourself is the practice.
